The Bridge Builders
More than eighty (80) people are credited with having constructed covered bridges in Indiana. While there were major builders who erected large numbers of these structures, there were sixty (60) or so who did only one or two, and more than 75 bridges were constructed by private bridge building companies leaving no record of the contractor.
