Our Officers

Officers are elected each year, but normally serve a two-year term starting in January. Some offices allow for longer times under the society by-laws.

Andy Rebman

Andy is an IT system implementation specialist for a drug development corporation based out of Indianapolis.  His interest in covered bridges started when he did a folklore project in college.  This allowed him the opportunity to photograph covered bridges.  He wanted to learn more about them and this started a lifelong interest in photography and covered bridges.  He joined the Indiana Covered Bridge Society in 2003 and enjoys meeting people and discussing Indiana's covered bridges.

Vice President

Our Vice President position is currently vacant.  If you are interested in joining our officers, please contact Andy Rebman at

Colleen Murray
Corresponding Secretary

Colleen has been a member of ICBS since 1999 and the Corresponding Secretary since 2005. She is a retired financial specialist from GTE/Verizon, where she worked for 30 years. She found her passion for covered bridges when a Girl Scout trip took her to Parke County, IN. Colleen also likes to crochet and tat.

Recording Secretary

Our Recording Secretary position is currently vacant.  If you are interested in joining our officers, please contact Andy Rebman at

John Murray

John is a retired telephone man who acquired a passion for history at an early age. Covered Bridges became a part of that passion after moving to Indiana in 1991 and accompanying his then fiancée (Colleen) on a ICBS outing. He joined the group and has been an avid supporter of bridges ever since.

Linda Jenks

Linda is our librarian and takes care of loaning out covered bridge books for the Society.

Kristine Frye

Kristine has held a variety of creative jobs, including marketing manager and web designer, writer, editor, graphic artist, and her current positions: adjunct professor and Coordinator of Composition, Communication, and Supplemental Instruction at IPFW. She found her way into the ICBS group in the early 2000s through her parents and love for history, and has never looked back!

Bill Brandenburg

Bill is our historian.  He is also a previous President of the Society.

Mandy Hall
Newsletter Editor

Mandy has worked on previous newsletters for non-profit groups and assumed the duties for the Society in 2019.
